Rigid Industries: A New Brand with Auto Truck Depot

At Auto Truck Depot, it's our goal to provide you with access to a wide variety of high quality products from all over, shipped right to you. To that end, over the last year we have been hunting for great, new brands and products, and one of those brand is Rigid Industries.

Who Are Rigid Industries?

Rigid Industries is a manufacture of high quality, durable LED automotive lighting options. Durable and designed for hard wear, the cast aluminum casing with a black finish is lightweight and rustproof. The lights themselves are guarded by a scratch resistant poly-carbonate lens that is designed to withstand the beating of the open road and won't yellow. Stainless steel hardware completes the completely rust-proof, decay resistant construction. Inside, their aluminum PCB Smart Boards, copper thermal conductive pads, and gold plated electrical contacts are built to last a long time without loss of quality. Waterproof connector mates that comes with the wiring harness seals off the electrical system from damage. But besides the detail-driven, durable construction, what really makes Rigid stand apart is their situation-specific design.

The Components

There are three components to every Rigid light, the casing style, the quality, or type of light it produces, and the lens. When combined, you can create a light that will function in the best possible way for your specific uses.

Light Casing

How much light are you looking for? Do you need one or two direct lights, or is it more appropriate to mount a more flooded light bar? Your choice may also be influenced by the type of vehicle your lights will be mounted on.

LED Lights

The greatest benefit to LED lighting is that they produce a much brighter light while using less power. Another great benefit is their longevity. Unlike standard tungsten or halogen bulbs, LED bulbs will almost never burn out. That means no extra costs buying light bulbs or time lost changing them. The smallest light size has a mere 1.1 Amp draw, using 15.8 Watts, and puts out 1568 raw Lumens of light. The largest has a 19.93 Amp draw, takes 275 Watts, and outputs 23000 raw Lumens.

The Optic/Lens

The Lens of the light is what determines the light quality. All of our lights come with the exclusive hybrid spot optic, a light quality settling between a full spot and a flood.

Combined together, these components create killer LED lighting systems for your truck or SUV. Whether you're an off-roader, a regular camper, or you need a bit of extra light, Rigid is the way to go.

Enhance Your Experience With Vehicle Lighting

One of the most important aspects to consider when driving is lighting. Headlights let us to see the road in front of us, signal lights let other drivers know when we are turning, and braking lights prevent other vehicles from running into us when we are stopping. Without lights driving would be chaotic to say the least.

Advances in automotive lighting have made driving much more enjoyable, decorative, and functional, and with the various products available, these benefits can be taken even further.

Imagine that you are late pulling into a camp site and are forced to setup in the dark. You have your headlights lighting the spot you will be setting up, but digging through the gear packed in your truck box is the real challenge.

This can all be changed with truck bed LED lighting products from Access and other manufacturers. The Access Truck Bed Light is cost effective, only takes seconds to install, only needs a 12 volt power source, and it is fully waterproof. The best part is that you will no longer have troubles finding things in your truck bed with this powerful light source. These lights can also be added to other products such as trailers, boats, or RVs. There are also battery powered lights as well, if 12 volt won't work for your application

If you are an adventure seeker that likes to take your vehicle off the road, you may want to consider adding some heavy duty custom lighting to your vehicle, such as some LED Flood Lights from Rigid Industries. These lights are as durable as they come, and with over 1,568 raw lumens, you’ll be able to find your way anywhere. The lights are built to be unbreakable and versatile, so they can get you where you want to go.
