Choosing a Truck Box

truck_box.jpgAre you shopping for a truck box? If so, you’ll want to give some real thought to the shopping process to ensure that you end up making a purchase you can feel good about. Obviously, the first thing you’ll want to consider is what you intend to put into the box. That will determine what size of box you’ll need; make sure you keep in mind the overall size of your truck bed as well and how much room the box will take up in your truck bed.
Once you know the size of truck box you’ll need, take care to choose a box that’s made of a strong, durable material, one that won’t rust, rot, or be easily damaged due to wear and tear or exposure to natural elements. You should also consider whether or not you want a box that’s capable of locking and if there are any other features that would come in handy.

You can find a wide variety of boxes to choose from by shopping at Auto Truck Depot.

Mobileye Makes Driving Easier

truck_box.jpgAre you someone who loves truck accessories? If so, you’ve probably already purchased all the basics, like a sturdy truck box and stylish mud flaps. Chances are, however, that you don’t have the Mobileye driving assistance device. In fact, you most definitely don’t unless you’ve got a special “connection,” since the device won’t be released until sometime next year.

The Mobileye device, which is set to be included on the newest version of the Ford Explorer, is a special product that features a small camera. The camera “watches” the road as you drive and records your distance from nearby cars and other objects. Thanks to its measuring capabilities, the device will be able to tell if you’re drifting into another lane, something that can easily happen if you’re not paying attention to the road or are falling asleep. No matter what the cause of your drift, the Mobileye device will let you know that it’s happening by buzzing, flashing a visual warning, and/or sending a message to your Smartphone.

While nothing beats a truck box and other classic truck accessories, some of the newer products coming to the market are definitely worth exploring. #CalgaryTruckBox

What’s in Your Truck?

truck_box.jpg
If you’re like most people, then you probably carry a lot of items around in your truck. Unfortunately, it’s also likely that you don’t actually need a lot of these items. If you want to keep your truck safer, why not give it a thorough cleaning, getting rid of the items you don’t need and adding in the ones you do? Not only will you actually be safer on the road but you’ll enjoy greater peace of mind as well.

Of course, you’ll need somewhere to keep those must-have items, so invest in a good truck box—the Fender Well tool box, which attaches to the side of your truck bed, is an excellent choice and is available from Auto Truck Depot

And what types of items should you keep in your truck box? Well, a mini fire extinguisher for putting out unexpected fires is always a smart idea. Then, of course, you can add in your tools, extra cell phone batteries, and other items that would help you if you got stranded.

What’s in Your Truck?

truck_box.jpgOne of the best things about trucks is the fact that they provide ample room for storage. Sure, they might be small on the inside, but you’ve got an entire truck bed plus the glove box to fill with the things you might need. What are those things? Well, for starters, you should always keep a cell phone and a car charger in your vehicle. You never know when you’ll end up stranded and need to call for help. Make sure that cell phone has important numbers, like the number to a reliable locksmith and a twenty-four seven towing service, stored inside. While your cell phone and charger is likely small enough to fit into your glove box, consider keeping them in a truck box inside your truck bed. You don’t want to be without your cell phone if you accidentally get locked out of your vehicle.
You should also keep a few basic tools in your truck box. A flathead and traditional screwdriver, a tire gauge, and other general tools can really come in handy when something small and easily fixable goes wrong with your truck.

Another good thing to have on hand is a storage container for gasoline. You may also want to consider a small fuel storage tank and an extra supply of fuel. Even the most seasoned drivers sometimes run out of gas when there’s no filling station in sight, and having a little extra gasoline available can make all the difference between being stranded and getting to your destination.

Every Busy Worker Needs a Truck Box

If you use your truck for work, then chances are that you transport a lot of expensive and much-needed tools and other items from place to place. Leaving those items unattended in your truck bed, however, even for just the briefest of seconds, can be a huge mistake. When left unattended, your items are left vulnerable to theft. Plus, even attended items can be damaged by rain or other harsh weather conditions. Items also run the risk of being damaged if someone backs into your vehicle or otherwise harms it. If you have a quality truck box for your vehicle, however, these worries quickly become a  thing of the past.

A good truck box can be used to easily and safely store your most important tools and other pieces of equipment. Because these boxes are available in many different styles and sizes, it’s easy to choose the one that’s just right for your specific needs. If you just have a few items to carry, then a smaller box is likely right for you. Of course, there are also large and in charge boxes for the serious worker who needs a lot of carrying capacity.

One excellent box, perfect for the driver with a lot of storage needs, is the Single Lid Full-Size Crossover Box. This large box pulls no punches when it comes to storage capacity, and you can customize your box by choosing from either a double latch system or a push bottom design for the ultimate in safety and security. These boxes are also weatherproof, keeping leakage from happening and guaranteeing that you items are protected.

You will Flip Using a Bakflip Truck Box

Bakflip Bak BoxMost people who add a truck box to their vehicle end up using it as a handy tool box. If that’s your plan, you might already be thinking and planning about what tools and other items you are going to include. While you may need or not need some of our suggestions, we’ve compiled our list of must-have in-truck tools with concern for those items that are really going to come in handy on a regular basis.

We suggest that, in your truck box, you include at least fifteen gallons of fuel. This might sound like a lot, but it can really come in handy if you get stranded far away from the nearest gas station! With this amount of gas, you can always make it that extra mile to get the help you need. Carrying a few gallons of water is a good idea as well. The water can, of course, serve as a replenishing drink if you suffer a breakdown and get stranded somewhere, but it can also be used for overheating engines! A fire extinguisher is another good idea, just in case of any accidents or serious problems with your truck. Other highly recommended items include a tow strap, blankets, a flash light, appropriately-sized ratchets, a breaker bar, adapters, extensions, drive sockets, combination wrenches, vise grips, a hammer, and screwdrivers.

Once you’ve decided what to include in your box, check out Auto Truck Depot’s great selection of boxes and all the necessary accessories to go along with them. One box we particularly like is the Bakflip Bak Box. It’s long, slim design is perfect for storing a lot of items without taking up all of your space. Plus, the price is pretty nice too!

What Can You Use a Truck Box For?

Image 1
Most everyone has seen a truck box or two in his or her day. You may look at these products and think that you couldn’t possibly need one. Most people think of them as only being for tools or other items that those who work outdoors would need. The truth is, however, that a truck box is useful for just about anyone—and anything! While you certainly can use your box to hold tools and other important equipment, it’s also a quick and easy way to store items that need protection, whether from the elements or from sticky fingers that might be tempted to take your items when you leave your truck unattended.

Since these boxes come in a wide array of sizes and styles, absolutely anyone really can use them! Whether you want to cart fishing poles down to the lake or just throw in your wallet from time to time, these boxes will come in handy so much more than you realized! Since most current models lock, they are much more secure than hiding items under a truck seat or sticking them in the glove compartment.

While you are encouraged to browse through the many models available at Auto Truck Depot, one in particular seems to stand out above the rest. That’s the Flush Mount Truck Box, and it’s easy to see why people love this model! It has angled bottoms that allow it to work with sloped bed walls and wheel walls, as well as an offset lid for opening without back wall interference. You can choose from different finishes too, so that you get the exact look and style you want!

Add a Checkerplate Truck Box to Your Truck

A truck box is an excellent addition to any truck. It provides a handy place to put anything and everything! If you’re a hunter, you might want a box to store your guns and other hunting gear. The same is true for those who love to take their truck down to the lake and catch some fish, or for anyone who routinely carries around a lot of tools or other gear. Most boxes are fully weatherproof and lockable, so all of your belongings stay perfectly secure, even when you’re not watching them.

If you want a truly sturdy truck box that can stand up to anything and still look great while doing it, then go for a Checkerplate! These products are crafted of a very strong and protective type of aluminum, making them very high end. The material is made specifically for use in trucks, so it’s capable of dealing with rain, snow, flying rocks and gravel, bumpy roads, and everything else in between. Plus, it has a neat and stylish look that can’t be matched by anything else. If you want your truck to be the talk of the town and to have a very useful and functional product, this is the one for you!

You can find these and other great products at Auto Truck Depot, a truck accessory store that has everything you could ever want. All of the store’s products are available at reasonable prices and are backed by a satisfaction guarantee—not that you’d ever need to use it. You’ll love every product you get from this store; try it for yourself and see!

Looking for a Versatile Truck Box? Try a Truck Toolbox.

There are a lot of different truck box products available on the market today, and they are made for a wide variety of different purposes. Some boxes are just a way to keep your most important personal belongings safe. Many truck owners use these boxes to house small personal items that they carry with them often, such as keys, wallets, and cash. Other boxes, however, are bigger and are meant for larger scale items, like fishing poles or hunting gear. One great suggestion is a box that is right in the middle size range, a truck toolbox.

By purchasing a toolbox for your truck, you will not only be able to store your personal items, but you will also have a place for all of your tools. This can include tools for working on your truck in the event of an accident or a needed repair, as well as just tools in general for whenever you get in a jam. For the guy (or lady!) who wants to always drive prepared and ready to face anything, one of these toolboxes is an absolute necessity. They are generally quite affordable and can be installed in just a few minutes.

As you search through truck box products, you will notice that there are lot of different sizes, colors, and general styles to choose from. It is up to you to decide the one that is the best fit for you and your truck, however. One good place to look for these items at is Auto Truck Depot, a company that has the largest possible selection of truck accessories for you to choose from.
