Alfred Morris’ Classic Car

Some people want to have the newest, fastest automobile on the market and, as a result, trade in their old rides as soon as the new models come out. Then, on the opposite end of the spectrum, you have people who develop deep, sentimental attachments to their automobiles and who seem to hold onto them forever. Surprisingly, Washington Redskins’ running back, Alfred Morris, falls into the second group of people.

Though Morris could afford to own just about any vehicle he wants, he has opted to keep his old school 1991 Mazda 626. At least, the car, which Morris says was his very first, used to be “old school.” A dealership in Brown’s area took and refurbished the car for him. Adding new brake controllers and just about every upgrade you can think of, the car is now in pristine condition, and Morris couldn’t be happier.

Loyalty paid off for Morris, and it can pay off for you! Give your old vehicle a new feel with brand new brake controllers or any other accessory from Auto Truck Depot!

Keep Your Vehicle Beautiful, Inside and Out

Whether you have a car, truck , SUV, or any other type of vehicle, chances are that you want to keep it looking nice, inside and outside. Taking care of the interior of your vehicle is pretty easy. You should clean up any stains or spills immediately and, better yet, you may want to think about not allowing food and drinks to be consumed in your vehicle so that accidents don’t happen again. Be sure to vacuum out your vehicle interior at least once a month or so and to give your windows a good clean. That should get your vehicle’s interior looking its best.

Now, for protecting the outside of your vehicle and for keeping you safe, why not opt for brake controllers? Brake controllers, such as the Draw Tite brake controller offered by Auto Truck Depot, help to ensure that you always come to a safe, smooth, even stop, even when (and especially when!) you’re carrying a large load. When it’s easier to stop your vehicle, it’s a lot less likely you’ll be driving around with a dented front bumper or other unsightly marks on your vehicle.

Reduce Wear and Tear on your Truck

Every truck owner knows, or should know, that there are certain truck maintenance tasks that should be performed at least once per month. These tasks are designed to keep your truck in good, working order and to prolong its life. Staying on top of them and doing so consistently helps you to be alerted to potential problems before they get out of hand and to enjoy your truck stress and worry-free.

Most modern trucks feature a “check engine light.” This light is designed to come on when a problem is suspected with your truck and to serve as an alert that assistance is needed. If you see this light come on, you’ll want to get it to your mechanic within the month. If the light flashes, however, this usually indicates a more serious problem that should be addressed right away—waiting for your monthly scheduled visit is not advised when you’ve got a flashing light!

It’s also a wise idea to have your truck’s tires checked out every month. You can even do this job yourself if you know what to look for. Simply walk around your truck and make sure that each tire is firm and has the right amount of air. If one or more of your tires is looking a little low, add more air. Once you’ve taken care of air, take a closer look to check for holes or other serious tire damage.

In addition to staying on top of your monthly maintenance tasks, you should consider adding helpful products, such as brake controllers to your truck. Brake controllers reduce wear and tear on your vehicle by helping you to come to a safer, smoother stop, even when you’re carrying cargo, and there are a host of other products there are just as helpful.

Don’t Haul Large Loads Without Brake Controllers

Image 1Whether you’re moving to a new home or just someone who regularly hauls large loads, you should know that having heavy cargo can impact your ability to stop normally and safely. When your vehicle’s weight is changed, due to cargo, braking is often harder than you’re used to. For example, it usually takes a bit longer to come to a full and complete stop with cargo than it does without it. This might not seem like a big deal…until that moment when you need to step on the brakes and stop fast. Then, whether or not you have brake controllers can make a world of difference.

There are many different brake controllers on the market, but you have to be careful about whom you trust your safety to. Sure, it’s easy to buy the cheapest product you can find, but is that really the one you trust? It’s so much better to purchase a product you can rely on and have the peace of mind you need to enjoy any trip safely. Plus, if you shop Auto Truck Depot, you can get a great product at an incredibly low price.

The Draw Tite Brake Controller is a perfect example. Priced to own at around $100, this simple, functional control provides the safety and reliability you need without costing you a fortune. There are many other models available as well. Choose dependent upon the number of axles you have and your unique needs. And, if you have any questions along the way, a reliable, friendly professional is always there to help, answer your questions, and provide general advice without the high pressure sales techniques you’ll find elsewhere.

Draw Tite Brake Controller is the Best of All the Brake Controllers on the Market

Image 1There are many brake controllers currently on the market today, but there are none that can quite measure up to the Draw Tite brake controller. This product is an absolute must for anyone who regularly travels with a trailer, because it makes it possible for even the heaviest of loads to come to a full stop instantly. Not only does this keep you and your cargo safer while you’re on the road, but it also makes for a smoother, more enjoyable ride.

Also, while a lot of brake controllers are next to impossible to install and take lots of expensive tools and tons of set-up work, this isn’t at all the case with the Draw Tite. With this awesome product, no electrical or mechanical skills are necessary. Anyone can assemble and install this brake controller, which allows you to save even more money by avoiding hefty mechanic fees.

Best of all, the Draw Tite works with a wide range of different trailers. The most popular model currently available is the 5100, which can be used with both two and four brake trailers. This particular model has an output indicator that lights up for easy reading day or night, an output control that you simply slide to adjust, and a three year warranty, so that you never have to worry about being out your money if you are unsatisfied with your purchase. Don’t worry, though; that would never happen with this excellent product. Just make sure you buy it from Auto Truck Depot. No other seller will provide you with such an affordable price. If you find one who does, then the company will beat that price or refund you the difference!

Look for the Best of All the Brake Controllers?

Anyone who uses a trailer on a regular basis, either for work or for play, needs to have brake controllers. Without these products in use, you run the risk of not being able to come to a smooth stop with your trailer, thus putting you and others on the road at risk, not to mention the items you’re carting with your trailer. The good news though is that there are a ton of different brake controllers on the market today, so you can find the perfect one for you, your vehicle, and your specific needs.

One of the best is certainly the Curt Reflex Brake Controller with Advanced Dual Axis Accelerometer. This awesome product is fully capable of controlling trailers with anywhere from two to eight electric or electrically actuated hydraulic brakes. So, whether you’ve got one or even four axles, you’re good to go! The advanced dual axis accelerometer knows when you’re trying to come to a stop and applies just the right amount of brake pressure so you do so with ease. Better yet, there is no expensive professional set-up required! In fact, you don’t even have to take on a “do it yourself” job; the product is self leveling.

You’ll also find that it is versatile enough to meet any need. You can mount it in many different angles or above or below the dash, and it can be used on multiple vehicles. Of course, it also comes with a limited lifetime warranty, so you’re guaranteed to get maximum use and enjoyment out of your new product.

P3 Electronic Brake Control: One of Our Favorite Brake Controllers

Brake controllers are a smart purchase for anyone who does a lot of travelling or who is on the road for work with a trailer in tow on a regular basis. Trailers, when not properly cared for, can be dangerous both to the driver and to others on the road. One thing that all trailers should definitely have installed is brake controllers, which allow these trailers to come to a stop more quickly when in use. While there are many such products on the market today, all of them claiming to be the best, one that truly lives up to its promises is the P3 electronic brake control.

The P3 electronic brake control may be small—it weighs only three pounds—and affordable—it costs less than two hundred dollars—, but it still packs a powerful punch and always gets the job done. It can take just about any trailer to a smooth stop; it’s compatible with trailers that have anywhere from one to four axles. It also includes a sharply designed LCD display that is always easy to read. Plus, you can even customize the color, contrast, and other features yourself. Unlike other brake controllers, anybody can use this particular product, since the display can be changed to multiple language settings. There are also options for electric or hydraulic brakes, and the unit is capable of completing and reporting on roadside diagnostics. An awesome “boost” feature makes many different levels of braking possible, and when you’re done, you simply store this great product with its dash-hugging design in the convenient pouch, which is included when you make a purchase from Auto Truck Depot.
