What’s in Your Truck?

truck_box.jpgOne of the best things about trucks is the fact that they provide ample room for storage. Sure, they might be small on the inside, but you’ve got an entire truck bed plus the glove box to fill with the things you might need. What are those things? Well, for starters, you should always keep a cell phone and a car charger in your vehicle. You never know when you’ll end up stranded and need to call for help. Make sure that cell phone has important numbers, like the number to a reliable locksmith and a twenty-four seven towing service, stored inside. While your cell phone and charger is likely small enough to fit into your glove box, consider keeping them in a truck box inside your truck bed. You don’t want to be without your cell phone if you accidentally get locked out of your vehicle.
You should also keep a few basic tools in your truck box. A flathead and traditional screwdriver, a tire gauge, and other general tools can really come in handy when something small and easily fixable goes wrong with your truck.

Another good thing to have on hand is a storage container for gasoline. You may also want to consider a small fuel storage tank and an extra supply of fuel. Even the most seasoned drivers sometimes run out of gas when there’s no filling station in sight, and having a little extra gasoline available can make all the difference between being stranded and getting to your destination.
