The Votes are In—The Preferred Fuel Transfer Tank is …

A Fuel transfer tank is one of the most important automobile accessories you could ever own. Whether you need a tank for your job or just for when you’re on the road yourself, these products definitely come in handy! While there are many reputable brands making these products, Auto Truck Depot prefers to provide its customers with only the very best, and they feel that the very best is Tradesman. That’s because Tradesman products are built tough and built to last for years to come.

So, when you choose this particular fuel transfer tank, you’ll get not just the fuel transportation you need, but also a handy tool box as well! This helps you to save a lot of space in your vehicle, since you won’t have to have a separate spot for both your tool box and your tank, and it also helps to keep all your tools and other necessary on-the-road accessories organized and easy to find when you need them.

It’s not just the combination that makes this product great either. It also has lockable vent caps for security, base mounting tabs, and baffles that cause the liquid to flow evenly. For those who want the ultimate in style, the product is even available in a diamond tread bright! Remember, having a functional vehicle doesn’t have to mean sacrificing style, so look great and be ready for anything life on the road throws at you with one of these products.

What to Look for in a Truck Box

A good truck box needs to be, in my humble opinion, versatile.  I don’t mean multi-purpose (it has to be that, too), but I mean it has to be the type of truck box that can withstand both the heavy use of commercial industry, as well as, that of the average Canadian who wants to haul a few tools or groceries around town.  Our two favorite truck boxes are Weatherguard and Tradesman.  I talk a lot about how much I love Weatherguard products (and I do), but I think unless we’re talking fuel transfer Tradesman and Weatherguard are pretty much identical.  Tradesman products are hand made and are just a sturdy group of product.

A truck box needs to be sound and of a decent thickness in metal.  Tradesman truck boxes are indeed that.  You only have to tap on one to see what I mean.  I personally love the diamond design on the metal.  My wife’s truck actually has a Tradesman powdered metal truck box that she likes quite a bit.  She feels it matches up nice with the exterior of the truck.  So in addition to it being a good study metal, it’s obviously a nice looking box.

The fact that these boxes are hand made means something to me.  It also means a lot for people who are investing a lot of money in truck boxes to haul expensive equipment around.  It means that you don’t have to make another purchase in a year or two.  Craftsmen make these boxes and they make them built to last.  I can name several customers who make repeat purchases of Tradesman brand truck boxes just because they ones they had outlasted their vehicles.

If you need someplace secure and safe to haul expensive equipment I’d highly recommend a Tradesman truck box.
